The animals and their eggshells were powerful spell components and had always been sought for this reason. Their scales were soft, not as soft as Prismatic dragon scales, but soft. Shypokes purred and sang little songs to attract mates. The songs of the last shypokes were said to be hauntingly sad. The shypoke was little more than half a cubit long.
